I thought it must be more than a fan because it is so much more expensive than other fans, like Xiaomi's. However, I am wrong. Once I accepted that it was just a fan, I actually liked it lol.

A: Yes. You can leave this Dyson running for hours of continuous cooling. No time limit. In fact I have left it on running overnight and the whole day following in summer last year when it was really hot and humid.

Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air. Q: How many square foot das this unit cool down and what is the lowest temperature I can set it ? If the fan is really to noise can I return it to Dyson ?

A: Hello Rita, this is Kelly with Dyson. If making a purchase from a Dyson authorized retailer, if you chose to return the unit for a refund, the item would need to be returned back to the place of purchase. Dyson would not be able to issue a refund, unless the order was placed directly with us. With regard to cooling, our purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.
