The Dyson Airstrait™ Straightener uses high-pressure airflow to straighten hair as it dries. Air is precisely heated and projected evenly through the tress as you style – with no extreme heat. This straightener straightens from wet to dry, simplifying your routine for a natural and straight finish.

Engineered to maintain hair strength
Three pre-set temperatures – 175°, 230° and 285°F (80°C, 110°C and 140°C) – take your hair from wet to finished style, with one machine
High-pressure air is precisely heated and projected evenly through the tress as you style
Touch-up or refresh your style from dry. Style at 250°F (120°C), 285°F (140°C) or use the optional Boost mode for maximum styling impact
Senses when hair is between the arms and automatically drops to low airflow when it's not – for quieter, more energy efficient styling
High-definition colour display shows airflow and temperature settings, for easy reference when styling
After three seconds of inactivity your machine will automatically pause – saving energy between passes. Simply move the machine to restart the airflow
Glass bead thermistors, located in the machine arms, regulate airflow temperature up to 30 times per second, to prevent extreme heat damage and protect hair’s natural shine
Airflow is projected downwards at a 45° angle to create the tension needed to align hair for a smooth end style – with less damage and breakage

Ups and downs of the Airstait

The airstrait has many great features, it certainly dries and straightens and it does it quickly. A few downsides however: For me, the straighteners do open wide enough. I find this awkward, particularly when drying the back. My hair is shoulder length and if you try to straighten so the ends of your hair turn slightly inwards the hot blowing air is very uncomfortable against your skin. Hair ends up being straight but not super straight and a bit frizzy. Fine for day to day but not up for a go out do! I am still in the trial period and still undecided as to whether I will keep it!

New Air Strait

I recently purchased Air Strut. It was delivered a day after ordering. Very impressive! Air strait has cut down the time taken to dry and straighten my hair. The heat is controlled and does not burn my scalp. My hair is soft and shiny after each use. It eliminated frizz and left my hair smooth and soft. I just live my new product.’Another winner from Dyson!

Probably the best thing I’ve ever purchased. From the first time I used it, I loved it. It dried my (very thick) hair very quickly and left it sleek, soft and shiny. It felt like I’d been to the hairdresser.

Great for frizz although plug heavy!

Well I researched i was dubious some say great some say not! Well I am really pleased, fast dry time redcued fizz, takes getting used to holding it but when you do it's easy! Wouldn't be without it now, would be better if not so heavy i mean the plug, its not very travel friendly due to the weight, other than that I would highly recommend, you get the salon finish without the salon prices!
