Best product of the many many I have tried. Sprayed once in the evening and once in the morning. Finally found something that actually worked. Costs more but well worth the cost considering the money you will waste on other products.

Q: For indoor silverfish: how long does the poison take to work? How long does a spray to Baseboards last? How often should we reapply? How soon should we see

  • Doktor Doom
    A: This is a contact killer spray only-it kills when it contacts the insect and does not have any RESIDUAL control. It works within 30 seconds. I would use Doktor Doom 60 Day Residual Control of Cockroaches for baseboard application-it is a RESIDUAL so will typically last for at least a few weeks after application-mitigating circumstances determine how long it will last. You will see instant results with the contact spray and the 60 Day cockroach Spray takes a couple of minutes to work. Silverfish are normally in areas with high moisture- for best results dry all surfaces prior to application. Especially with the RESIDUAL product as moisture will dilute the concentration of active ingredient.

Q: I am planning to purchase it to spray it all over the house in order to kill the hidden mature cloth moth, would it work or should I use another product if I want to do this?

  • A: It will take months. I suggest you invest more money to get the automatic dispensers. Then when new eggs hatch & larva turns to moth they'll be sprayed while you sleep. Anyway, you need the "flying insect Doktor Doom" not this. "Flies, Gnats, Mosquitoes, and Small Flying Moths". It's primarily Pyrethrins (1.8%) and Piperonyl But oxide 10%. If there's little pyrethrin it ain't gonna do the job.

  • A: Doktor Doom Multipurpose Indoor Insect Killer II if used according to labels directions is not harmful to Humans or animals. Label precautions are: Precautions: Keep Out of Reach of Children. Contents are under pressure. Do not place in hot water or near radiators, stoves or other sources of heat, or store at temperatures above 50°C. Cover fish bowls and remove pets for one hour when spraying rooms. In homes or dwellings, remove or cover all exposed foods and cooking utensils before spraying. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothing. Avoid inhalation of spray. Wash after using. Keep from freezing. Do not use on Maidenhair ferns. Best regards, Doktor doom

Q: Do I have to wear protective clothing, mask,etc when spraying. Do I have to cover kitchen utensils, food etc. In the room although I spray on a particular item like sofa only. Health hazzard that I should be aware of. Thanks.

  • A: Follow label instructions-cover exposed food, dishes or utensils Wash surfaces and items with warm soapy water that may have been contacted by spray after application that may come in contact with food. No mask etc is required. Always spray away from yourself and do not treat other humans or animals with product. Let dry on fabrics before coming in contact with them.

  • A: Doktor Doom Multipurpose Indoor Insect Killer is made with pyrethrin which is in lots of products approved to spray on animals-note it is toxic to fish and other cold blooded vertebrae. This label is not approved to spray on animals but does not state that when using you should remove animals from the area being treated. Best regards,

  • A: The Multi-purpose II Insect Killer is not approved to spray on fruit trees. Although pyrethrin maybe approved for this use it is not approved for this use on this label.
