Dewalt P1000 Ramset

Bought as a replacement to an older Ramset. After months of waiting finally got to try this today and not a single charge would fire off. Tried a few different charge loads, larger hammer but zip not one fired. Seems to be a common thing with this tool

Garbage tool! Do not buy zero stars!!!

Do not buy this item I wish I read reviews. Will not fire shot even with the use of a 3lbs sledge hammer.

Not worth it even for $20

It just did not want to set the charges off. I wasted about 5 charges before I bought a different brand. Very disappointed with Dewalt since I own lots of their tools and I'm happy with those.

Not working and returned

I bought it despite the bad reviews thinking that it might be a misuse of the product. It ended up being as bad as most of the revier described. I tried 4 loads and 3 never fired (20 hammer hits each). One did without the loud noise though and the shell was squashed in the chamber. Do not bother spending your money despite the low price.

Decent tool at a decent price for occasional use

I bought this because a traditional concrete nail wouldnt come close to denting our 50 year old concrete slab. This tool was on sale but i sourced the nails and charges elsewhere. It worked as intended and each charge went fine...on a couple I had to bhammer it a second time. Very happy with this and would recommend to anyone who needs to nail down their basement wall sile plates.
