I bought my DeLonghi Stilosa to make a good coffee whilst I work in my studio. It was a bit of a “luxury” buy (not in terms of the price point) as we have espresso makers at home already, but it is nice to have one at hand in the studio. I read some reviews before purchasing and The Stilosa has lived up to the reviews I read. I love the size of the machine, I find the milk frother easy to use despite some of the reviewers views , it makes a fantastic espresso and is fast! I would recommend this model to anyone who does not have a lot of money to spend or who just wants a good second espresso machine.

I am not one to post reviews but I had to about this product. I am on my second machine within 5 years. They don't last as they are made cheap. They have a 1 year warranty and they break right after the warranty expires. Our first machine the pump stopped working about a 1 year and a half in. We reached out to DeLonghi and they told us the warranty was expired and would offer a 20% discount off a new one. We went a few years without one. I bought a new one in May of 2025. It just broke in beginning of July 2026. The small part the water reservoir sits in cracked, now water leaks all over the counter. Same deal reached out to DeLonghi and warranty is expired so they offered a 20% discount off a new one. If I decide to buy a new espresso machine I will do some research and buy a better one.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Love my new machine

This has replaced my Keurig. I love making a fresh iced coffee drink in the morning. I'm still trying to figure out when to "stop" the pull, but it's a learning experience. I'm excited to try new and different things with it, and for the price, it can't be beat!

  • A: Makes a really quick and delicious cup of coffee. I make Americanos with mine all the time. Water and espresso, then add whatever you like, cream, sugar. Amazing cup of coffee.

  • A: Since this machine is meant to make espresso, it does not make much sense to use anything other than espresso-grind coffee. And for best results, you probably should use an espresso roast. If you use something coarser or lighter than espresso coffee, the results will be weak and watery by comparison. But I have used it with Trung Nguyen coffee to make Vietnamese iced coffee.
