Don't use with CFL or LED bulbs

We have one installed in a small bathroom and it's been working well for 3 years. However, don't use with CFL or LED bulbs. This switch doesn't like them. CFLs keep on blinking faintly until they die. They don't last long with this switch. For incandescent bulbs only.

I have it in my kitchen. The motion part worked well but the sensitivity does not work. Either the light was on during daylight all the time or was not coming on when it was dark. I now just use it as a normal light switch. Which looks more attractive then your everyday one.

Good Product

We have this switch installed at our basement stairway for the last 2 years. Works well if you are pretty much straight in line with the PIR sensor. Otherwise it does not sense you even if you wave your arms. Worth what it costs when on sale as it is still working.

I have one - does not work. Light does not turn on/off reliably. It was a waste of time and money. AVOID!

Q: How bright is this light?

A: it's a passive infra red sensor, so it doesn't give off any light at all, and since it works on infrared, even if it did, you wouldn't be able to see it. so i guess "very dim" just about covers things?

Q: does it also have a dimmable feature? Need 1) motion sensor feature with adjustable daylight sensitivity adjustment 2) Off/auto/on feature 3) Dimmable feature

A: This product does not dim or have daylight sensitivity adjustment. Product 052-7279 is a dimmable motion sensor that fits these options.
