The seat is priced low but I feel that he qualify and construction are also on the low side. The first one was damaged out of the box. The second one was fully intact. It installed easily however I noticed the rear feet on the seat were not touching the rim. I've never experienced this with a toilet seat before. When I sat down, the seat flexed under my weight. It's not ideal and I expect this to eventually break. It for a rental suite but I will try again when the seat breaks.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: The seat does flex and sinks, but explodes like a cannon later. Still in one piece. Loose at the back attachments. I'd buy a heavier duty one next time.

A: NO. And it makes a loud squeaking noise when lifting it up and putting it down. I sprayed 3 n 1 oil on moving parts and replaced plastic screws with metal ones, and it's still squeaking. I wouldn't buy it again.

A: Not totally flat, the lid is slightly rounded. The plastic isn’t strong enough to bear much weight.
