A: No, they used years ago but now it's not necessarily important in most cases. The only ones that do I believe are commercial equipment do to huge amounts.

Q: Cuisinart says max cap for flour 6 cups. Recipe book with machine says basic white bread - 8 CUPS. How is this possible please??

A: I do believe the mixer can handle 10 cups. It will be advertised as litre capacity in Canada and quart capacity in the US. All you do is google how many cups in a 5 litre or 5 quart measure whatever size your bowl is.

A: Hard to measure, but pretty close to 13.5" tall.

Q: Will this mixer handle 3.25 cups of water and 3 pounds of flour to make bread and knead it for 3 minutes?
5 years agoA: Hi, The maximum capacity for any Yeast dough made within this unit is 6 cups of flour - which is approximately 1.75lbs. 3lbs of flour (in addition to other ingredients) would be considered over capacity. Thanks
