I bought this maker about 12 years ago and used it at least twice a day. Do the math. Awesome. Bought a new one earlier in the year when the old one gave up the ghost. Big mistake. I could tell it just wasn't made as well and sure enough after less than 6 months, it no longer works.

J'ai acheté comme cafetière de remplacement et j'en suis extrêmement satisfait. Finition de qualité et facile à utiliser. Donne un café très goûteux. Entretien très facile. Une garantie de trois ans c'est génial . Attention : il faut surveiller les réclames & promotions car le prix dégringole substantiellement. Je la recommande sans aucune hésitation.

On voit tout de suite en ouvrant la boite en touchant a la cafetiere que c'est de la qualité. Solide, pratique, plusieurs fonctions, un filtre a eau au charbon (comme les Brita). J'étais habitué aux cafetières cheap Black & Decker ou Sunbeam , mais j'ai décidé de me gâter quand la dernière a brisé encore et je ne retournerai pas en arrière! Je suis tres content de mon achat. Une autre fonction dd la cafetière, un bip qui annonce que le café est prêt. Un petit plus!

Simple is Good!

Its very easy to use this timer. The timer is also on top of pot, so flooding the electronics is not really possible. It uses a small charcoal water filter, which isn't easy to find. It has a clean cycle in the controls, we haven't had to clean it yet, as we have only had it 5 days. The unit has a three year warranty. The coffee seems OK for a machine which uses pre-ground coffee. It has a gold mesh filter so paper filter aren't required.

Easy to use - Just plug in and pour!

After using a Keurig for many years, it was nice to go back to brew coffee. The fact that this model is programmable is even better. Nothing beats waking up to the smell of fresh coffee. It is simple to use and the no-frills design doesn't take up too much real estate on the countertop.

A: We do not carry replacement carafes, but this product carries a 3 year exchange warranty with proof of purchase for manufacturing defects. Replacement charcoal filters are available in-store under product number 43-0573. You may also contact Cuisinart Canada at 1-800-472-7606.
