For the price I am disappointed as these forceps would not lock. I will try to file down the teeth because they are rounded and don’t hold the forceps so they can remain closed. Have popped off and been lost in the snow a few times.

Hardly got to use them and they sheared in half. What a pile of junk. Obvious defect in manufacturing as there are other examples of the same issue.

the 1 star review with the broken pliers wasn't lying, bought a pair, took them out of the package, opened them and broke, returned then day of, wont be trying any more, need pliers i can trust, these are brittle, thank you to canadian tire for the excellent customer service and refund though

Bought a pair to use in the kayak, pretty excited as I have the pliers of the same brand. Took them out of the box and squeezed to open them and they snapped! Returned to the store and wanted to get a replacement, so went back to the fishing aisle and gave a couple more a squeeze. One instantly broke again. I'm no hulk, and they were broken with just my thumb and fore finger...
