Neither channel provided a clear signal. It was impossible to hear anything over the static and interference. Canadian Tire should not carry this product.

Q: power source to the safety first monitor Does this monitor have options of using batteries for both hand sets? or is it just the parent handset that can use batteries?

A: Good morning. We apologize for our delayed response. Only the parent unit has the option of operating on battery power. The child unit must be plugged in using the AC adapter when in use.
