    Contour did go out of business and TEMPORARILY was not offering support. Since then the company has been bought and is currently on the way back, just check their website. As for the camera, it is shoots great video and is very well made. There is even a picture on twitter of a guy who crashed his motorbike, landed ON THE CAMERA, and it still works. I would recommend taking advantage of the recent problems Contour has had and snap up a cheap camera!.

    Excellente camera video, "mais attention", il faut utiliser le logiciel pour la configurer, et il n'est plus possible de télécharger ni le logiciel ni le driver pour Windows... la compagnie Contour à fermé ses portes au mois d'août en mettant ses employés à la porte.... donc plus de service à la clientèle.... Faites en votre propre opinion. Faites vos recherches sur le net... vous verrez bien !!! Produit à éviter, d'ailleurs Canadian Tire ne devrait même plus en vendre à mon avis !!!

    Exceptional product, misleading ad

    This camera is absolutely fantastic at what it is designed to do. Two warnings: The camera does not shoot at 1080p at 60 frames per second as the ad suggests. 1080p is shot at 30 fps, and you can only shoot 60 fps at the 720 quality setting. Secondly, I've been told the 360 degree helmet mount breaks fairly easily, so maybe tether the camera to the back of your helmet - not the front unless you want a black eye if it breaks off ;)

    Q: Memory card This add states that it comes with a 4GB micro card...although the flyer states 8GB included. Also, what is the maximum capacity (GB card) can this camera accept? Does it need a special software tor configuration?

    • A: This camera shipped from contour with a 4GB micro card. Max capacity is 32GB. It does not need special software for your PC or MAC. Contour did provide software for download (free), but this company is no longer in business - there is no hardware or software support.

    Q: Would this camera mount on a bike helmet? i BMX and i want to take footage of me from my bike helmet

    • A: Yes it will, there are a number of mounts to suit a bicycle helmet. You can order a mount specifically made for vented bike helmets from Contour, or you can just use the adhesive pads to glue a mount to the helmet. You can trust the adhesive if you follow the directions. I'm told the plastic on the 360 degree helmet mount can break though, so beware.
