    disappointed this year

I have purchased this product for a few years and was happy this year for some reason the tape will not stay on! Not just one window, all of them, don't know if I would purchase again!

No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought the Duck Max Window Kit after another vendors product which I have used for years, had issues with the backsides tape peeling off of the tape. I have never used this product before but it was easier to put up due to the film is thicker and stronger. I will be using this product in the future to insulate my windows in the cold MN weather.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought this yesterday. Put it up today. Easy to apply the tape, roll it out and cut it. Went to use the hair dryer. After 5 minutes on high it wasn't even hinting that it was going to shrink. Ended up in the garbage. Should've stuck with the 3M Brand. That worked every time for me.

No, I do not recommend this product.

This is my second set of max window applications. The first set was great. This last set isn’t clear. A white residue is in the plastic and the window looks dirty. I keep my windows super clean. They are front facing windows that are large. I don’t understand and I’m disappointed. This type of insulation is fantastic and saves me a lot of energy and money. But I don’t like sitting in my living room and looking out what appears to be a streaky dirty window. I have three of these windows in my living room.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    • White residue. Appears dirty

This brand has white residue on it. Not a crystal clear view.

    Questions

    1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: Hair dryer Is it possible to install this if one does not have a hair dryer?

    1 Answer
    • A: Thank you for your question! The hair dryer is used to help smooth out any wrinkles and shrink the film. If the film is installed tautly you should not need to use a hair dryer.
