I am not a professional but i was feeling some air leaking into my apartment from my balcony, i use the tape to go inbetween the metal and concrete in the balcony doorway.

We have older windows and some have extra space when they close on one side. This tape took care of eliminating the draft and extra insulation for cold weather, also ensuring a weatherstrip.
