I tilled and seeded my whole back yard. Grass was nice for the summer. No complaints. The only issue I had was it was dead when the snow melted. I dig up a piece and the roots were very skinny and barely noticeable. And only went down half an inch. I add a triple mix to the top of the seeds and put down, added spring, summer and fall fertilizer. I watered to encourage deep root growth. Tested the soil ph and nutrients. But I am know facing the spring of 2019 having to reseed my back yard again. I am switching seeds this year to a local brand. If it comes up year after year then I will say the problem is in the seed. I will report back.

J'ai acheté 4 sacs de 1.5 KG en début de saison. I; m'en reste un demi sac.Tout a poussé avec plus de résultats qu'escomtés et sur une pelouse très dégarni et pas facile à faire pousser deeuis des années. Très satisfait. Je réensemence régulièrement le long de la saison pour que mes pelouses avant et arrière soient bien fournies et bien en place. Je referai de même l'an prochain. Je le conseille fortement. C'est le meilleur que j'ai utilisé à ce jour parmi des dizaines d'autres le long des années. Garder la terre humide en tout temps et les pousses seront et visibles entre jours maximum. Une belle verdure et SANS mauvaises herbes en plus.

Worst lawn seed I ever used

I dug up half my nice lawn due to grub damage and re-seeded using this product. I give it credit that within a week, I was seen growth already. However, once the seeds matured i found that a majority of the greenery was crab grass and nothing but thick stemmed grass that you normally see in a commercial setting. Nothing like the nice soft grass typically seen on most homes. Another section of my lawn needed re-seeding and I used scotts. That came out perfect. This CIL product is an absolute joke. My lawn looks terrible and now next spring, I need to dig it up again. The CIL was on sale and I was been cheap to not by scotts. Scotts products are overpriced but they always work good. I took the seed back to Canadian tire and all they say is, "sorry, we never heard that before"

All ingredient seed lots are tested in a seed laboratory to establish purity, and viability specifications, prior to blending, and file samples of all mixtures are retained. We can therefore assure you that the seed you bought is the best available on the market in Canada. So as for your belief that the crabgrass weed seeds developed from our grass seed, we can assure you with all confidence that they did not. It is most likely that the thick stemmed grass that came up was a Ryegrass found in the blend. That is the first seed that germinates in this blend while the Kentucky Blue Grass takes much longer. Once the Kentucky Blue germinates fills in, it will blend with the Ryegrass and Fescue, giving your lawn a more uniform look. PremierHomeGardenProducts

Je l'ai utilisé sans conviction au départ, mais j'ai été supris par les résultats qui m'ont impressionné en seulement 4 jours. Tout, absolument tout avait germé sans espaces dénudés. Tout avait poussé. Prenez soin de recouvrir votre semence de terreau et d'arroser au moins 2 fois par jour de façon modérée. Garder simplement le sol humide sans plus. Surtout évitez l'engrais.
