The Chima 12V Electric Winch Kit provides 3,000 lb of raw pulling power for vehicles and trailers. This rugged 12v winch features an IP67 sealed control box for all-weather protection, a handlebar-mounted switch for easy operation, and a mechanical + dynamic brake to hold heavy loads in place. The free spooling clutch allows quick unspooling of the 15m steel cable by hand. With a durable 4mm cable diameter, this 3000-lb winch kit mounts to most flat surfaces.

The product does not come with a necessary roller for the cable, great price and ok quality but with out the directional rollers it is going to damage the quad

Q: I'm looking for replacement parts for the winch this model has replaced (I think it's likely the same, with different labelling). The one I have has the same item number (099-6118-2) but is called smk winch expert, it claims to be a 3000lb winch.

A: I do not know where to get replacement parts for it.. .I have this winch in our garage mounted to the concrete slab - I use it to tow a motor boat up the inclined driveway and into the garage for storage and also to gently roll the boat down the driveway in the spring..

Q: in order to line up my winch cable and the snowblower attachment on my tractor I would have to reverse the mounting direction of the winch. If I unspool it and reverse the cable direction, will the winch operate normally?

A: We strongly recommend the customer to use the product according to manual instruction shown below (Image 1). If the cable direction is reversed, the pressure point will be higher, which will bring damages to the winch, and may have safety concerns (see illustration Image 2).

Q: What is the cable length fully extended? Where is the remaining hardware to secure the toggle switch to what? How do you install the toggle switch and with that short red wire coming from it? What are the bolt on mounting suggestions for the ATV?
