I either toss it in the dishwasher or let it soak briefly for an easier hand wash. The basket itself is hand-wash only, but the smooth interior surface makes it a breeze to clean with just a sponge and rinse. Capacity: For two people, 7 quarts is perfect—and actually a game-changer! My old 5-quart model always felt a bit tight since I like making extra for leftovers. With 7 quarts, I can fit a lot: about 2 lbs of frozen fries or nuggets, six servings of wings, three (4 oz) burgers, or three (8 oz) salmon fillets. It’s super spacious without feeling bulky. Durability: This air fryer feels sturdy and well-built, and I can tell it’s designed to last. No flimsy parts, just solid quality all around. Design: I’m really impressed by the compact footprint despite the larger capacity—it doesn’t dominate my counter space. The window and interior light are huge perks since I can easily see how the food’s coming along without opening it up. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This air fryer is very visually appealing but performs mediocre. The capacity of it is fairly small but has tall sides compared to others I’ve had. It didn’t come with a wire rack which I find almost mandatory if you want to achieve an even, crispy crust. The menu is bright with vivid colors on the touchscreen with many presets for commonly fried foods. I very much like the touchscreen with the presets because it appears more luxurious than most other air fryers. However, I dislike the casing of it. It’s encased in a matte black and every single fingerprint shows. They’re very (if not) impossible to remove. The performance is what prevented it from receiving the 4 stars. I’ve made sure to use this according to the instructions when making various types of food and I noticed the inconsistency of the outcomes in my food. For example, I’ve tried making 8 mini corn dogs and there were four that came out partly cold despite being organized in the center. Overall, I like many things about this appliance but I do not recommend it solely based on the lack of consistency in thoroughly cooking my food. A wire rack would have had been an amazing addition, too.
