bought for a quad

I have a champion winch on my quad and thought I'd benefit from the wireless kit bought it installed it, it worked great for a short while then the solenoid quit working so now I'm having to just use the toggle switch on the handle bars , not very convenient. the install was quick and easy , the remote could be smaller by 50% so it fit into a person's pocket. I lost the receipt so I couldn't return it or have it replaced.

Used winch controller to modify a dc motor for forward and reverse . Worked out well , easy wiring directions , enough to modify for my purposes

Q: Just bought the "Tundra tested" brand winch that has a remote, only to find out that the handle bar switch connector must be removed and then the remote plugged in to use the remote.....is this the same?

A: Hello Ryan, We are not quite sure as we are not familiar with the winch you are referring to. However, this wireless remote kit is meant to work with any 12VDC winch up to 5,000lb. Q: Will this work as a replacement for a failed solenoid? I have a 4000lb ATV/UTV winch which just had a solenoid pack go bad. Since Canadian Tire does not supply replacement solenoids, and this kit appears to come with it's own, am I able to use this as a replacement?
