This is the 2nd Champion generator that I have purchased in the last two years, not because of issues with the first, but because of the dependability of the Champion brand. It doesn’t matter how cold it gets, these Champions start on the first pull of the cord and work as they are designed for. This smaller one will be utilized for my off grid cabin as it is easier to move around when space is somewhat limited. With a runtime of 11 hrs on a single tank of fuel, it will keep the lights and TV without issue. If I require another generator, it will be another Champion. Can’t go wrong.

Great to moove and charge my batteries at camp

Bought to charge my batteries .solar. with 10 amp charger it works great. Easy to start.my wife can pull start it. Last hrs 10 hrs on a full tank .for the price .it meets all my requirements. To run when I dont have sun for my batteries. For a fracture of the cost of other brand it works well. Run time is good .noise is acceptable .outlets are ok for my needs and portability is good to.moove back in my snowmobile

A: sometimes there's not enough draw and the gen won't run smooth, you got to pull at least a third of the power of the gen then it should run smooth...

A: In addition: Most travel trailers have an onboard converter for charging batteries. Some of these systems draw as much as 8 amps of power. Amps x Volts = Watts. So, 8 amps x 120 volts = 960 watts. Will our little 1200 running watt generator run this 960 watt load? Absolutely!!!

A: Interesting question; haven't tried to charge any batteries with this unit. Based on the specifications it is, conceivably, possible; wouldn't want to be in a life/death situation when trying it out, however.
