stay away from this product

I bought this product after I had an emergency flood in my basement and it never worked. Literally has never been able to run. The policy is to contact the manufacturer but after 6 calls, hours on hold and a request to call back, it sits in my garage unusable. wouldn't recommend

Works great, runs great. Bit challenging getting the green hose on but nothing you can’t figure out. Handle to move is it is the only thing that could be improved otherwise it would have got a 5.

Motor starts with choke on and one pull I also turn gas off so it doesn’t flood while riding around behind my water tank would be 5 stars but can be tricky to get prime when sucking out of top of water tank. It is a very fast pump once it is going and motor isn’t too loud

Q: Do the parts exist to convert the output to fit a garden hose to run a pressure washer?

A: Unfortunately, we do not sell or produce parts that would allow a garden hose to connect to the transfer pump. The unit is designed to drain or refill swimming pools, remove water from basements, or draining shallow flooded areas. Thank you.

Q: Does this pump come with a suction and discharge hose? If so how long? What’s the difference between 062-4014-6 and 062-3533-6?

A: Yes, the suction hose is the green one with the filter at the end and the discharge hose will be the blue one. There are no search results for 062-4014-6 on Canadian Tire. Thank you.

Q: Are you able to put a nozzle on the hose or another hose to be able to use for emergency grass/brush fires?

A: Yes, this is possible. However we do not carry any attachments of these kind unfortunately. We found a helpful video online that an individual made for this exact set up. Q: Hello. I need another 250’ of discharge hose. No problem to find it but the threads on all hoses i can find are NPSM threads and the Champion is NPT. I don’t think they are compatible. What do you suggest? Andre

A: The Champion pump features a male 2" NPT connection. You can use an adapter to change the male NPT threads to male NPSM. A: Hello ILLAGIRL, The housing is an aluminum alloy and the impeller is cast iron. All Champion engines are equipped with low oil shut down protection, including this transfer pump. Thank you.

Q: How long are the suction and discharge hoses. Do they both come with the quick connect couplings?

A: The suction hose is 12ft. and the discharge hose is 20ft. long. The suction hose has a cam lock coupler on a threaded connector and the discharge hose is a threaded as well. The connections are 2" NPT. Thank you.

Q: Regarding the 6.5hp champion water pump how long of a discharge hose can it pump through? I need to pump a flood area small pond to a lake about 150 ft away. Thank you A,

A: Hello Andre, You can transfer water as far as you like horizontally. What is measured is only the vertical distance from the water line to the end of the discharge hose. This is called 'Total Head' which is 98ft. for this pump. Of the Total Head, the Suction Head is 26ft. This is the maximum you can draw the water vertically into the pump. From there you can push the water out of the pump vertically another 72ft. Keep in mind, the more Total Head, the slower the flow rate. If you have to move water 150ft. away, and the vertical distance is within this limitation, there would be no issue achieving this.
