stay away from this product

I bought this product after I had an emergency flood in my basement and it never worked. Literally has never been able to run. The policy is to contact the manufacturer but after 6 calls, hours on hold and a request to call back, it sits in my garage unusable. wouldn't recommend

Very fast

Motor starts with choke on and one pull I also turn gas off so it doesn’t flood while riding around behind my water tank would be 5 stars but can be tricky to get prime when sucking out of top of water tank. It is a very fast pump once it is going and motor isn’t too loud

Q: Can this be used as a fire pump?

A: Hello, we do apologize but, this unit is designed and engineered as a semi-trash water transfer pump intended for applications such as dewatering, irrigation, and general water movement. It is not designed, tested, or certified for use as a fire suppression or fire-fighting pump. This unit does not carry NFPA, UL, or other fire-service certifications required for dedicated fire pump applications, and it has not been evaluated for use in code-regulated fire protection systems. Because of this, we cannot recommend or support its use as a primary fire pump. If you require equipment specifically for fire-fighting or fire suppression purposes, we strongly recommend selecting a pump that is properly rated and certified for that application in accordance with local fire codes and regulations. Q: What diameter are the hoses, discharge and suction? Do you sell longer lengths of discharge hose or can they be bought?

A: Hello, the discharge hose included with the unit is 25 feet in length, and the suction hose is 20 feet long. Both hoses have a diameter of 2 inches. At this time, Champion does not manufacture or offer longer replacement hoses. If additional length is required, you would need to source compatible aftermarket hoses. When selecting aftermarket options, please ensure the hose diameter and fittings match the unit’s specifications to maintain proper performance and secure connections. Q: Can this pump be configured to use with a garden hose? I need to move a lot of liquid in a short amount of time in a garden hose. When the nozzle if closed I need the pump to stop pumping. What pump would work for this situation?

Q: Do the parts exist to convert the output to fit a garden hose to run a pressure washer?
