I bought this to buy as tire repair glue. It last a long time in the tube. I find if I buy it any other way it usually hardens (into a rubber ball) it works with rubber very well.

Q: Would you recommend this over the Slime brand Rubber Cement for using with patches on my bike tube to patch a small leak?

A: Rubber cement, no matter the brand is essentially the same chemical solution for bonding rubber to ruber. There is no difference other than branding. Save a buck!

Q: how long until dry? how long to cure ?

A: If it is used for placing on a tire plug to repair a hole in your car tire (on the tread surface) it cures within 30 seconds as the glue and the plug vulcanize with the tire. I cannot say how long it will take to cure on other applications but it should be used with pressure (ie. a clamping method). Regards,
