Oil filter strap

Older style strap wrench had sandy coating on ring inside . Lasted a good 10 years. New product has dimples, doesn’t grip as well.

When all else failed, this product' was there . The grip was surprisingly top notch, superior!!!! My oill filter was on soo tight, My oil filter wrench grooves were a tad bit smaller than the original oil filter, so I couldn't use the original oil filter wrench to get it removed, but not a problem for the certified band wrench!! Excellent product and I highly recommend!!

Area where the band connects with the handle is not wide enough. When pulling hard on the handle to loosen a tightly attached oil filter, the end of the handle will push into the filter metal casing, crumpling and collapsing it and rendering the tool ineffective. I ended up having to purchase a chain vice grip to get the job done.
