Q: How does it fasten to the hose? Does it have a zipper?

A: Hi! This hose does indeed have a zipper. You will need to unzip the vac sock zipper and place vacuum hose on center of the cover, fasten zipper at one end and slide zipper to opposite end. Tie down each end with laces provided and secure end cuffs with hook and loop tabs.Hope this helps! -Ian Hoover Customer Care

A: The 43-6756 Central Vac Hose Sock is 30' long, and fits the length of the hose included in both Hoover Central Vacuum kits available at Canadian Tire.
