I had to completely disconnect and re-align both front and rear derailleur and adjust the brakes before I could ride this properly, which took several hours. After 3 uses, the front wheel went flat and as I disassembled the tire and inner tube I found 2 holes on the inside of the wheel, right where the spokes would be. So the inner tube was improperly inserted to start with. The handle bars do not fasten to the frame very well and while on a dirt trail I completely rotated the handle bars 90 degrees from the wheel. I would never recommend this to anyone !!!

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Havent rode it yet

Purchased two days ago. Got the bike home; the gears don't shift, brakes rub. Taking it back tomorrow, I haven't even rode it yet. Happy I didn't pay full price. I'm sure it's a quick fix for someone who knows what they're doing but shouldn't have to fix a brand new bike when you get it home. Hopefully there is someone working that can fix it, if not, getting a refund.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Front wheel not centered with the forks I just bought this bike from Canadian Tire and I noticed the front wheel is not centered with the forks and the steering. The wheel is a little bit more of the left towards where the disk brake is. Is that notmal or is it a bad installation ?

    • A: I think it should be centered. Check that the axle bolts are both right into the top of the dropouts on the front fork. If that doesn't work, front wheel may not be properly trued (dished). Contact your dealer for warranty service.

Q: What is the pedal size on the CCM Scope? I bought cycling shoes and now I need to replace the standard pedals with new pedals and straps. Most appear to be 9/16".

    1 Answer
    • A: The size is 9/16. This refers to the pedal spindle (aka axle). Most 3 piece cranks are 9/16” and one piece cranks are ½”. But it’s always good to ask.
