We used this lock (had one for each bike) for a few years, however, upon the first attempt to be cut a thief had no struggle cutting the cable and stealing our bikes. Spend the money and get something that will work. Also, the attachment clip didn't last very long before it broke.

If you live in Toronto or any major city, don't waste your time buying this. Had this lock on an old trike (nothing fancy, maybe worth 250$ as a resale item) and was chopped through in seconds. I saw the video from a security camera and can confirm there was no struggling involved. While the lock 'worked' fine, as in it opened and closed well using the key and didn't just get jammed, it's not a deterrent to thieves. After losing a bunch of gear over the years, watching that video I've now decided if it isn't a strong Ulock or a really thick chain, I'm not trusting it with a bike, trailer or anything else of even minor value.

Just as others wrote, my bike got stolen... worked great for an instant, but didn’t last long.

This lock is easy to use, flexible and easy to put on and to take off again. I actually use this to secure my BBQ to my fence, rather than using on a bike. Works great!
