I don't have any complaints about it but, I think I purchased and used it too early in the season. It did indeed attract and catch flies outside. It was my error in purchasing it because my fly problem was in the house.

Q: What is the recommended method of disposal please? The bag and contents are gross smelling with lots of dead flys . I wouldn’t want it to break open in the garbage truck and leak down our alley! Any suggestions?

A: Hello Mrs. Clean, thank you for your patronage. There are a few ways to dispose of the item once it is full. You may place the item in a double bag and dispose in your trash or you may puncture a small hole and drain the water in a sink and then place the item in a double bag and dispose of in your trash. Q: Does this trap work for trapping horseflies ?

A: Yes the fly bag trap will trap horse flies, bottle flies, drain flies, house flies and other common flies. We recommend hanging the fly bag trap 10 – 30 feet away from your home.

Q: Does the garbage smell of these bags attract bears? Has the manufacturer done any testing to confirm if bears are attracted to this product?

A: As with any foreign smell, there is potential that it may attract a curious bear. The manufacturer has not tested this, nor have they had a incident involving this product and bears. That said, one should take appropriate precautions when there is potential for an interaction with a bear. The manufacturer does not claim to be an expert in bears, and suggests independent research is done to help avoid a dangerous encounter with any wildlife.
