    Great net for the price

Although I just picked this up today, it seems very well build with good quality bungee cord. I attached it to my 4'-2" by 8'-2" utility trailer and am quite happy with the fit. The plastic hooks attach well to the angle iron top lip of the trailer, and the hooks have holes so rope or additional bungee cords can be used to extend the reach. Another review stated the hooks are brittle, but mine don't appear to be and actually seem fairly hefty for a cargo net.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Could be better

The plastic hooks are very brittle and break far too easily. It'd be good if the hooks were metal. I'd pay more to have something more secure. I'll be returning mine.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Great for camping gear.

I used this net for four years in my Dodge Dakota. In order to anchor the net I ran a cord around the floor of the bed between the four factory anchors. This way I could hook the net to the front of the rope and drape it over the cab while I loaded all of my camping gear, firewood, boating bits (lifejackets...) and the like and when I was loaded I would pull the net down and finish hooking it around all mu stuff. I never had anything blow out of the bed when using the net. Without it, items would fly out into traffic or fly in through the rear slider window and land in my lap.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Questions

    1 - 2 of 2 Questions

Q: What are the Stretched/Stretchable Dimensions? Ditto to the above question, how much stretch or give is in this netting. Most trailers are 4x4, 4x6, 4x8 etc... Same with truck boxes. This is 4'4" x 5'10"... show how well does it fit some of these common size trailers etc...?

    • A: My trailer is 4'-2" by 8'-2" and there is still plenty of stretch left in the long axis for a rounded load.

    Q: 52" x 30"? That can't be right unless that trailer is only 4 x 2 feet. Does it actually fit a 4x8' trailer?

    • A: It's actually a typo in the description. It's 52"x70" or 132x177 cm (not 132x77 cm). You can see these dimensions in the photo of the bag it comes in if you zoom in. I'd be interested to know what the maximum stretched dimensions are.
