If I could give this product a 0 star review, I would.
This product does not work. That foam you see in the product shots and the video? Doesn't happen.
I bought the starter kit + refill in on shot figuring I would be able to hit a few bare spots and over seed the rest of the lawn.
Money lost and I should have known better.
The dispenser doesn't dispense. The foam doesn't foam. The Instructions are terrible. And URL in the provided in the instructions for you to "Watch the instruction video at..." That's a dead link.
There's reason why every review after the farmed 5 stars from product launch is 1 star.
This is garbage. Don't buy it.

Cheaply made, cheap results likely

Bought this as a cost effective way to spruce up my condo yard as the maintenance company doesn’t reseed, just mows down to the dirt. First application worked fine, second application failed miserably, the container split on the side and shot blue liquid all over me, and the sidewalk. Spent 30 minutes scrubbing with Gojo to try and remove the stains on my skin. Don’t bother

My two pitbulls who are on a high red meat protein kibble diet because of allergies did a great job destroying the yard with their urine. I ripped up the old grass, tilled the soil and than used this product along with watered twice a day for 10 minutes (I'd recommend getting a sprinkler Timmer too).

Q: How big of an area does 1 Canada Green Hydro Grass Kit &/or Refill kit cover?

A: I would say that if its for a new lawn, the coverage is about 140 sq ft. for the starter kit. If you are overseeding an existing lawn, then the coverage will be higher as you will go faster in your application and probably multiply the area by 4, so 4 x 140 = 560 sq ft. It varies from one person to another, depending on the condition of your lawn. I had areas without grass and others with grass already established. If you are not sure, apply more as it will only look better.

Q: It’s not clear how much liquid and seed to mix together. Do I add any water??

A: We recommend that you pour half the container of seed , half the container of water and half the liquid foaming formula so when you connect the hose with the valve closed it will be able to mix better. Then you are ready to seed. Repeat for the next half.
