    Did not work at all

I bought this over a month ago and after setting up and putting in the bush there was nothing. I bought this for video with sound, my regular camera for pictures took lots but this one nothing. Brand new batteries were dead, brought home to troubleshoot. It would not work at all and it heated up very hot which explains why it had dead batteries when I checked it. Sent to Bushnell on my dime and now waiting to hear back.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Very good game camera

Picked this up a few weeks ago after my older spypoint started to act up. It had good reviews. Its a sturdy camera, compact and easy SD card access. Readable LCD screen for menu set ups and formatting. Takes very good, clear crisp day time colour photos and very good night IR black and white photos. Good camera for the money .

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Takes Great Pictures

I got 3 of these trail cameras and all are working very well. The picture quality is great. It takes great pictures night time and day and is very good on batteries. This is the first trail camera that I really like.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Great Camera but pricey

I have had this camera for a couple months now. It takes really good photo's and video. Night time photo's are very good and video quality is excellent with sound. So far my only complaint would be it doesn't have a mode where it will take a photo before it starts recording video. You can only have either pics or video not both.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: dose it come complete or do you have to buy extra stuff?????

    1 Answer
    • A: The 119837CN is the 16MP Trophy Camera Esssentials E3 model. In the package is the camera, the manual and the adjustable web belt for mounting. It does not come with batteries nor a memory card nor USB cable if you wish to unmount the camera and connect it to a computer. NOTE: You are not able to view the pictures/videos on the camera. The screen is for you to be able to change the settings of the camera's parameters. Below is information from the manual...... A full set of eight batteries must be installed for the camera to operate. Bushnell recommends using eight new lithium AA (Energizer® brand) or alkaline AA batteries. NiMh Rechargeable batteries can also be used, but they might have a shorter life span due to their reduced efficiency over time and at low temperature. The Trophy Cam HD Essential E3 has 64MB internal memory, which can hold about 50 photos (@ 4K resolution). This is handy for testing and getting familiar with the camera, but you will no doubt want to leave the camera unattended for longer than a day or two, so using an SD card is recommended. The Trophy Cam HD Essential E3 uses a standard SD (Secure Digital) memory card to save photos (in .jpg format) and/or videos (in .mp4 format). SD and SDHC (High Capacity) cards up to a maximum 32GB capacity are supported. Reviewing Images by Connecting the Camera to a Computer You can always unmount the entire camera from the tree and connect its USB port to a computer-it will be recognized as a “removable disk”, without the need to install any drivers or software. When using a PC (or Mac*) to view photos (or video clips*), first connect the device to the computer with a USB cable (not included, available at most electronics/computer retailers) that has a “Mini-B” USB plug on one end (camera) and a “Standard-A” USB plug at the other end (computer).

Q: What is the maximum distance to trigger and get reasonably clear images?

    1 Answer
    • A: Thanks for inquiring about the Bushnell Trophy Cam HD. This camera is tested to trigger out to 60 ft. These cameras are capable of triggering from further distances - but for quality images/videos- we recommend setting the camera up to where it will be triggered by something 60 ft or closer. Thanks!
