Not what I expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The resolution and focus was not what I expected. Grainy image, no way to change color scheme. It wasn't Bushnell clarity.
The second time I used it, the battery had drained despite having turned it off after only 20 minutes of use the first time.

Great view when it will turn on

I love the view when it will turn on; however, I have tried multiple battery type and cannot get the monocular to turn on. So far, if I use brand new batteries it will not turn on, but if I use old (used up) batteries, it WILL turn on but then dies because they are almost dead.

Please listen to the bad reviews

Worked for approximately 10 minutes. When I say worked, I mean turned on. I could see better in the dark without the device. Then I just wouldn't turn back on. Replaced the batteries, checked orientation, nothing. Totally dead. It was a gift and I'm embarrassed to even tell the person after thoughtfully getting me something I thought I wanted.

Decent night vision

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as I wanted a stand alone object viewer for viewing my livestock. It works decently and allows me to cut through the darkness.
Pros: cost effective
Built in illuminator
Easy to use
Cons:field of view is tiny
Resolution is less then I expected

Not sure if I had a defective unit but it would not hold a charge and the screen had lines all throughout.

A: You can set the illuminator to different brightness levels, but it can't be disabled fully. It does offer full colour daytime viewing.
