A: Range Hoods are to be mounted beneath a cabinet and usual a minimum 20“ from the stove top and no more than 30“ (24” over a gas range).

Q: What type of duct connection does it have? The round type, or the 3"x 10" rectangular? And also, do I need to do any wiring, or it's a plug-in type?

A: The ducting size is :3-1/4 in X 10 in . Vertical or Horizontal. Yes the unit must be wired in. All instructions are in the manual.
