    Terrible tire life

I purchased four Blizzak MZ-03 18" Run Flat Winter Tires in 12/13. They performed extremely well with my quattro all wheel drive vehicle during heavy snow and ice conditions. My complaint is with the tire life. Just over two and half winters the tire inside sidewalls (the inside area where the rim meets the tire) are torn to shreds while the tread wear is near perfect. Four of these tires cost $1582.00 and lasted only just over two and half winters, approximately 7500 kms. The dealer refuses to put them on the car because of the shredded inside sidewalls. I have called Bridgestone but have not gotten anywhere with them yet. I will never buy Bridgestone again and I suggest you consider another brand as well.
Prosice driving capabilities, performance in dry conditions, winter driving capabilities

In one season, had tires road force balanced and rotated twice in effort to reduce pavement noise. Growling noise from tire on front was so pronounced, local installer suggested BMW check for bearing failure - it was the tire!!!< br>< br>

Great winter tire. Currently riding on studs instead just to see which I prefer. The blizzaks are an amazing compound that told the blizzard in Chicago of 2011 to go home, cuz I didn't have to. Drove around all night in the deep snow[you know, for "extended testing"], and it handled absolutely amazingly.

These tires make my 760Li (rear drive) quite usable throughout the winter months. On two occassions I have beefitted by the run flat technology; once driving the car from Boston to Allentown, PA (320miles)without air (valve stemfailure); and once (just last noght) driving from New York to Allentown after apothole induced blowout (the wheel was alos bent badly, but the technology allowed a safe albeit cautious drive to complete.

Great tire, haven't actually had the opportunity to drive it in much snow. Now the operator who took my order knew exactly what I was looking for, and was easily able to help me with my order.
