    Q: Is this the tool to push back the piston on the disc brake caliper? or there is a different tool for that job?

    • A: Yes, this is the one. Leave the brake pad that seats on the piston, then use this tool to push it back. I bought this but I returned it again for I realized that a more cheaper C clamp can do the same task. Just my advice.
