Q: Do they come pre-gapped in the package ready to install or would I have to gap them.
13 years agoA: Be careful when checking or adjusting the gap, the iridium is very thin and you can wear it off if you are not careful !! Do not slide your gauge through the gap to open it if needed, use the little slot to carefully pry it open. If it is withing the spec, leave it the way it is.

Q: What is the gapping for this plug? The NGK website says .043" (1.1mm) but you appear to show .052".

Q: Are these good for a 2010 Toyota Corolla CE?
3 years agoA: Hi there, thank you for the question. The recommended NGK Sparkplug for a 2010 Toyota Corolla CE is the NGK Laser Iridium Spark Plug, 1-pk Part #ILKAR7B11 which has the corresponding Canadian Tire Product# 018-4981. I also do recommend speaking to one of our store associates working behind the parts counter or a service advisor.

Q: How can I find out if the exact type of plug is in stock at the closest store to me? I need a 2 pack of NGK CR8EIX but there is no way to find out via the website. It only guides me to enter my vehicle type and that doesn't show anything...
6 years agoA: When entering my motorcycle (2006 Suzuki Vstrom) I am only offered a choice I find appalling and would never use. None of the NGK spark plugs are shown, or any acceptable brand. From this I can only conclude Canadian tire has no spark plugs that I would find acceptable. Thank you for your response.

Q: What is the life span for these plugs ?

Q: My 2015 Explorer requires plugs with 0.050" gap but these come gapped at 0.043"...are these plugs able to be adjusted and should I gap them to spec or is it ok to install as-is?
a year agoA: HI there. it is not recommended to gap iridium plugs as the electrode can break if too much force is used. I recommend asking a store staff for assistance. Our parts pro should be able to guide you on proper procedures or part. Thanks.

Q: Is this a double iridium spark plug where the ground section is iridium also.
4 years agoA: Hi there, Thank you for your question. Our trusted vendor has indicated to us that the ground section has a small iridium tab welded to it under the electrode to increase the durability of the ground providing increased wear protection of the ground.
