    Fences not aligned

    After setting up the saw and checking the miter zero against the left stationary fence, I could not get true 90 degree cuts. I lined a straight edge up along both the right and left stationary fences and the right fence is not aligned with the left fence. There are no adjustment instructions for aligning these two crucial fences. Each fence is bolted to the saw base. Searching online I found that others have had this same problem, and recommend purchasing new fences. I shouldn't have to purchase new fences for a brand new saw. I'm updating this review with new information. I first loosened the bolts I used to hold the saw to my workbench to be sure I wasn't distorting the base plate. I then was able to align the stationary fences by loosening the two bolts holding the right fence to the base and using 6 slips of aluminum foil to shim the inner edge of the fence away from the base plate. I'm now getting good 90 degree cuts. Too bad they don't have this in the user manual.

    Dust collection

    The rubber flap should be lower to collect the saw dust. I have had my saw for a couple years, shortly after I purchased it I put some duct tape to extend the rubber flap and then removed the bag and place a vacuum hose to it…. Works great

    Overrated

    Don't trust the reviews that say this thing is small, lightweight, or easy to transport. It is bigger than my double bevel 12 inch sliding miter saw and weighs more too. I bought this to bring to the job site based on other reviews making false claims about how compact it is. There are already quality control issues out of the box. There are areas that don't seem to have been finish milled and areas where there is no finish, just raw metal.

    Great Saw, but needs improved dust collection

    The Bosch 10 inch Axial Glide Miter Saw was perfect out of the box. I really enjoy using this saw for my projects and have wanted this saw for 10 years before I finally bought one. I am very happy with this saw. I only wish the dust collection was better and feel it could be engineered better if desired by Bosch. C'mon step up your game and make it perfect!
