This Bosch 18V li-ion 1/4” impact driver is fast – and has high torque. At 2,800 rpm and 3,200 bpm, your productivity will get a good boost. It has a driving force up to 1,500 in-lbs (125 ft-lbs). Q: What is the model number?
11 years agoA: The model # given by the Canadian Tire Expert is wrong for this image and the specs given on the features list. The image and specs given on the page indicate it is Bosch Model # 25618-02 which is a much better impact driver than the said IDS181 model.

Q: how well does 1/4" impact bits stand up how well does 1/4" impact bits stand up to 125ftlb of torque? This is strong enough to do car wheels but seems like it would easily twist off 1/4" bit?
13 years agoA: This impact driver is designed for ¼” impact bits, so it will hold a ¼” bit easily with no problem provided it is an impact ready bit.

Q: compared to Dewalt. Is this a more quality impact driver than Dewalt? Is bosch the Better name. Which brand is better?
11 years agoA: Each brand and each item under the respective brands has its own unique features and benefits, many are subjective depending on the customers’ needs and circumstance. Some people may like the performance of one brand but prefer the compact shape, weight and balance of another. As far as brands go; we classify them by market segment and both Bosch and DEWALT brands target the Trade Professional segment, as such both are of comparable professional quality. We can add that both branded impact drivers have been popular with customers; we believe either item in professional applications will be enjoyed.
