Do not buy. Will destroy your speakers.

Bought this about a month ago, plays an ugly deep base sound whenever you power your car radio on. This sound destroyed one of my speakers in the car of which I have to fork out a large amount of cash to replace. Furthermore, the autoscan feature is useless. Does not select any good frequencies, only ones with radio stations playing already. At least you can manually select a frequency. This unit is going straight in the garbage. I deeply regret having purchased this piece of garbage as now my speaker is blown in my car and it does not do it's job well.

No, I do not recommend this product.

It has a light that flashes to the music. Very distracting. It can only tune odd decimal FM frequencies (87.1, 87.3, …)

Q: How to setting channel manually?

  • A: It has an up or down auto scan button. You can't set it to a specific channel you want. It finds one not in use that provides the best signal strength. It works well far away from the big urban areas. Less channels being used.
