Right on the box (and on it's website) it says this unit is rated for car inflaters. It is not. It may be an ok item otherwise but I bought it for one reason and it did not work. Returned it to the store.

I bought this to use for my car food warmer inside when I didn't want to have my car running too long. It works good, I like having the choice of heating up my food at lunch either outside in the car or inside . I'm glad I bought it.

Q: I just purchased a12 volt tire inflator #009-5210-2 from Canadian Tire, and was wondering if this Bluehive converter is what I would need to use a standard 120volt ac outlet instead of the cigarette lighter in my car when using the tire inflator.
