Blaze Pro Animal Repellent, 400 g

As raccoons started using my backyard and fence as their toilet I began my research on the solution. I have used ammonia with only minor success. Also considered using fishing line and other mechanical solutions. Did not like the idea of using a trap as I did not want to deal with an animal. So I ran across this spray and thought that it may be the easiest thing to try. Before going to bed I sprayed the tops of some fence posts slightly and to my surprise the fence remained clean in the morning. I repeated the procedure next night and the result was the same. It has been 10 days since I started - no raccoons. Not sure if they left forever but they definitely trying to avoid the spray. Just make sure you don't breath it when spraying. Recommended.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Racoon problem? What's that?

Those pesky raccoons...every single night, like clockwork. My poor boyfriend would get so frustrated (garbage is his chore) that the bags would be ripped apart and scattered across our backyard (we live in a walkout and had no access to the garage). We'd be cleaning it up every morning, no doubt. It got to the point where we would just tolerate the stinky garbage smell in the house for a couple more days until garbage day so we wouldn't have to deal with the mess. Happened to be in CT and saw this - like a miracle from heaven, the clouds parted, and I swore I saw an aura around it. Bought it and haven't looked back! All it takes is a few sprays on the bin and bags and those suckers are off to the next bin, leaving yours untouched. Not to mention the bottle is fairly big and will last us for several months if not a year. The smell can be a bit strong when you first spray, FYI - but SO worth it.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Can you spray this on fruit trees or edible garden/backyard plants? I want to spray on fruit trees because animals like to steal fruits from our backyard. If this gets on the fruits, is it toxic?

    1 Answer
    • A: The product can be applied to the bark of the tree but must not be applied to the leaves or the fruit.
