Broke after using on thick batches

I had this for a few years and used it occasionally . It was reliable until I started using it for mixing heavy, thick (small) batches of homemade fudge. One of the beaters started slipping and making a grinding noise, then it wouldn't spin at all. Turns out the internal plastic gears were stripped. I liked the mixer because it had lots of power and features. But with internal plastic gears, I recommend only using it for mixing things that are not too thick or heavy (such as cookie dough). Should be a good mixer otherwise.

Great mixer with several speeds. The turbo button is great for spinning the excess off the mixers at the end of use. I've never had one with a timer on it - it's handy when you have a recipe that specifies how long to whip! I don't find that the mixer stays attached to the parts storage piece while in the cupboard, but that doesn't bother me much. Overall, great purchase, especially at the sale price!

I've bought small kitchen appliances before that were from Black & Decker and they were flimsy, and usually stopped working about a year later. This however was totally different. It's sturdy, a good make, has held together and is very powerful & easy to clean. I love

La seule chose que j'aime de ce batteur est son choix de vitesse. Je le trouve trop lourd et il est difficile d'appuyer sur le bouton Turbo pour la vitesse accélérée. De plus, les batteurs sont trop minces et ne battent pas bien les patates.
