Purchase 2 months ago and is a nightmare to keep clean. "crumb" tray and rack completely blackened despite the fact that oven is inly used for toast and occasional air fry of frozen hash browns. Long time black & decker buyer, no longer!
ps: today, air fry setting for 5 minutes, heating element burst into fire!!!!!!
No, I do not recommend this product.

Pumpkin pie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had bought a toaster oven and in it was just the right space for a pumpkin pie. There is plenty of room in my kitchen right next to a microwave with plenty of space in front and on the rear to avoid the high heat that might ruin the microwave. I read a pamphlet with these instructions for manually cleaning the pan and assorted asseries which led me to a cookbook, also inside of the pamphlet that came with this appliance. Idid follow instructions from turning the knobs to air frying won'tons without preheating and oven and for a reason. I learned with a pumpkin pie placed into the oven with an inch from the glass door. When ten minutes was up I took a hold of this with a pair of oven mitts and enjoyed pie

Over priced, under performing

I bought this a couple of months ago and it is all sorts of messed up. You can really only toast two pieces at a time, and that is generous. If you put four in then two are burned and two are not toasted at all. The timer barely works and is very inconsistent. Often it will just stop in the middle of the countdown. It won't ding it just won't go any more. The toastiness is also very inconsistent. If you put two sets of toast in (since you can't do all four at a time, then one will be over done and the other will be underdone. Another annoyance is that the timer goes when the toaster isn't plugged in, so if you forget to plug it in it still counts down, but doesn't cook. The air frier is kind of nice. I had never used an air frier before, but it seems like just baking with a basket. Often some parts will burn while others are under cooked.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had it for a LONG time, close to ten years, I believe. First thing to go was the bagel button, less than a year, followed by the frozen button, same time(ish).
After these features went the decline of this toaster is almost unmeasurable.
STILL a good toaster! only takes, with an adjustment to the timer, 2-3 minutes longer to get the same result.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Oven gets hotter than set temperature, but am learning to work with it. Cord a bit too short. Otherwise, oven working good.

Q: Does the bagel selection actually work? Does selecting bagel, does only the inside burners come on?

A: Thank you for your question. Bagels and English muffins are thicker, and take longer than regular bread to toast. The bagel function is used to toast these foods. When using the bagel feature, the inside of the bagel will be toasted, and the outside of the bagel will be warmed. The inside elements will heat up more than the outer elements, and may appear that only the inner elements are working.

Q: defrost? Never saw a defrost feature before and got no manual with it. How does it work? I assume it regulates heat but with no light on the button I have no idea how to turn it on or off.

A: The frozen button is used for frozen toastable foods (such as waffles, toaster pastries...). When this feature is selected, the toaster will automatically defrost the food and then toast it. To engage the frozen function, press the toast lever down until it locks, and then press the frozen button.
