Good trimmer bad battery

Love the trimmer but the battery won't fully charge. Goes from green blinking indicating charging to red blinking after about a minute. Can I replace the battery with a 40volt 2.0ah or 3.0 ah?

Love the trimmer/edger LST140 but after the batteries (I bought an extra as a back up) sat in the house over the winter months….neither will charge. They will start flashing green but then after a minute…rapid flashing red light with both batteries.

Batteries are terrible!

Tools are great but the batteries are terrible. Can’t get them to charge on a regular basis. Sometimes it works, but mostly the charger turns red and the batteries will not take the charge. So frustrating!

Problem with 40V 1.5AH Lithium Battery

Regarding my B&D Trimmer/Edger 40V 1.5AH Lithium battery, my battery will not recharge properly, which seems to be a common problem according to the reviews. Intermittently I can get a green reading, but more often red blinking. This is so frustrating making my excellent trimmer/edger unusable.

Bad batteries??

I have a hedge trimer and a sweeper/blower both using the 40V 1.5AH Lithium battery. I am having the same problem as nearly all the one star ratings. Can't get batteries to recharge. I have two chargers and both do the red light blink. Sometimes green for a bit then red. This is so frustrating making both pieces of equipment unusable. I have held B&D in high regard as far as quality but this certainly changes my mind.
