Too long charging

I purchased this product at Canadian Tire. I got it home and it wouldn't charge. The manual says 4 hours of charging. After 6 hours the light was still flashing red. I took it back as I don't have the time to wait 6 - 10 hours (however long it actually takes) for this vacuum to charge only to use it for 15 minutes. This would be the perfect little vacuum if it was CORDED instead of cordless. If it was corded, I would have given it a 5 star review. It would be nice if Bissell made this in corded.

Bought this vacumm and cannot even charge it. Not sure if this is manufactor problem or not. But im not very happy with this purchase

A: I would not use the bissell adapt ion for wet applications. You may find that it clogs the filter and makes the holding canister mucky. I would recommend this product for dry applications only.

A: No it does not... there is an attachment that works really well on upholsteries... it has an angled attachment that I use on stairs and I am happy with that...

Q: Can this vacuum only be charged using the base? I'd like to charge it where ever I need, instead of only in one spot, or having to move the whole base to do so. My current one has an adapter that I can plug in anywhere to charge it, which I prefer.

A: Unfortunately it must be charged by the base included. But l love this vacuum. Very handy. One charge lasts quite a bit.

Q: Hi. On my ceramic do I need to put the brush spinning ? When you don’t put the brush spinning it feels like it’s scratching the floor , does your vacuum feel like that ? Thank u

A: No... make sure to clean your brush regularly and that it is properly inserted... I clean the filter cup and roller brush after each use so that it remains in optimal shape and is ready to use when I need it... I have purchased a second one as I am most pleased with it's performance.

A: It is a excellent cordless vac. it is extremely light, easy to clean and makes vacuuming a breeze... I have purchased a second one as well and highly recommend it... you would be pleased with making this purchase.
