Comfort skates

I have always used hockey skates for leisure skating but thought I would splurge this winter for a new pair of comfort skates. They kept my feet very warm at -18 Celsius. But I find that these skates are heavy. It is difficult to get the laces tight enough. The soles of my feet were in agony after 20 minutes. I am hoping that this is just the skates “breaking in”. And that my feet will adjust in time. I wear a ladies 11.5 wide and the size 10 of these skates fits well for length and width.

Q: Being unisex, what do the sizes indicate? I selected a 9, and the description says equal to size 10 shoe size. Is this men's or women's sizing

A: Please read the Features section of the website product page that explains the sizing for both men and women. But basically, the skate size is equal to the men's shoe sizing. For women, you'll have to choose a skate size 2 down from you shoe size.
