Not a good skate

I bought these for my son after reading a few reviews on them. The lacing in the skate boot is HORRIBLE. It is not a traditional skate eyelet. It is through a piece of material that when you try to pull the skate lace tight the material has give and "stretch" to it so its very hard to get a good snug skate. Have to wait to bring them back when store gets back to normal. I have gone out and bought a different roller hockey skate, a true skate boot with proper eyelets.

A: There isn’t but if your child is playing inline hockey they remove them anyway.

Q: I bought these blades for my son but realized there are no brakes... are they supposed to? Or can I buy brakes separately?

A: The Bauer inline skates do not come with brakes. Unfortunately, we do not sell brakes separately. Alternative, we do carry the Ultra Wheel inline skates for Boys that have brakes – 0844667X
