Flimsy Plastic Frame

The plastic frame is flimsy and difficult to open without breaking it. This is the second frame I have now used. It could be constructed a little better. This frame was already separated from the the 2 notches and would not snap back together

An expensive item but necessary.

The product is priced less than comparable antibacterials. Do not use bleach as it burns the wicks which are expensive and if this item is used the wick can function for more than one season. The fill line inside the cap is not real obvious but it is slightly less than a teaspoon.

Missing waterline indicator

No waterline indicator like the one that came with the unit. Otherwise, the pedestal frame is doing its job.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Finally float works

Clip is superior to original one. Float and rod are about the same and may need replacing again in a year or two.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Poor Fan Construction

The plastic frame did not snap together well because a tab on one side would not align with the opposing hole. So I duck-taped the unit together to encase the filter and hold it in place. Then I found the fan would not operate because it was hitting on the top shield of the frame. I had to file off the plastic part about 1/4” to allow the fan to rotate.

Q: How often do I need to replace this pad in my humidifier?

1 Answer
  • A: For the essential oil pads there is not a “standard” for how often to change them, it is really a customer’s preference. If you notice any discoloration in the pad, or if you are changing the scent you are using, or if the pad is no longer holding the scent then that’s when you should change the pad. We recommend only adding a few drops of oil at a time and waiting a few minutes to see how it disperses, instead of saturating the pad initially. You can add more oil if needed.
