It worked really well as I had to jerry-rig my electrical power supply used for fans. Rather than connecting unshieled open-ended copper cables, I simply sliced the switch end and shielded that. Highly recommended

Q: longer option I need to rewire a 5ft floor lamp. Does this come in longer lengths? Without the switch

A: We unfortunately do not carry a longer cord such as this product. You can purchase the following packaged cords (7.5m) and plugs in our electrical assortment to make their own cord. It is urged that you use extreme caution in constructing the wire/plug and if necessary consult a professional.
