Q: Hi, on existing rust, do i need to remove all rust or I only need to a clean any loose and degrease before applying? If apply over clean rust will this accelerate existing rust??

Q: Will this product hold in hot temperatures of 35c or above? What is the product made of?
7 years agoA: Hi Bill: This product is primarily made up of asphalt resin. This will hold at 35C - however, it will become tacky at increasing temperatures. Regards Rob Dominion Sure Seal

Q: Will it damage my paint?
7 years agoA: This is a coating based on asphalt dissolved in mostly petroleum distillates (mineral spirits). As such it will not attack most coatings. It is non-paintable and not designed to be top coated.

Q: If this product is stored in the garage will it be damaged by freezing? Also how long is the shelf life?
11 years agoA: The product must be used in room temperature. If it was kept in a garage, it is recommended to bring it indoors until it reaches room temperature. Shake the product well before using. If you do this, it will work perfectly fine. It should not be damaged from freezing if brought to room temperature. If the product is used and is still cold, it will not properly work.
