Dominion Sure Seal Asphalt Undercoating is a unique product made from 100% asphalt, designed to effectively repel water and moisture. The substance is intended for primary use on inner panels, door frames, trunk areas, and floor pans where moisture concentration is high. The undercoating produces a soft texture with impressive sound deadening properties and insulation. With excellent adhesion attributes, it remains resilient without hardening or cracking.

Manufactured from 100% asphalt, which works to repel water and moisture (the leading causes of corrosion)
Best applied to inner panels, door frames, trunk areas, floor pans, and other areas with high enough moisture concentration
Has a soft coating that provides excellent sound deadening properties and insulation

A: Hi Bill: This product is primarily made up of asphalt resin. This will hold at 35C - however, it will become tacky at increasing temperatures. Regards Rob Dominion Sure Seal

Q: Will it damage my paint?

A: This is a coating based on asphalt dissolved in mostly petroleum distillates (mineral spirits). As such it will not attack most coatings. It is non-paintable and not designed to be top coated.

Q: If this product is stored in the garage will it be damaged by freezing? Also how long is the shelf life?

A: The product must be used in room temperature. If it was kept in a garage, it is recommended to bring it indoors until it reaches room temperature. Shake the product well before using. If you do this, it will work perfectly fine. It should not be damaged from freezing if brought to room temperature. If the product is used and is still cold, it will not properly work.
