Disappointed!

I bought this feeder in December. It has never worked properly. Cannot trust that it will give the correct portion or anything at all!

Very confused.

This feeder won’t dispense anything. It doesn’t matter if I try to do it manually or on the schedule. It makes a whirring sound, and then nothing comes out. I’m using Blue Buffalo kibble which is definitely below a .5 inch diameter, and the moisture content is 9% max. I suppose it’s possible I inserted the baffle wrong, but the manual doesn’t give any instructions about how to insert it, and I’m honestly not sure what it’s supposed to do anyway.

Hard to reprogram after batteries run out

This device drains DD batteries and it is such a pain to reprogram when you have to replace, Also, the lid on the top is not easy to close and lock. I have had trouble trying to change the batteries if I still have food in the container because the lid doesn't stay secure and I've had food spill out all over more than once. I like the large volume it holds, but it's not worth the hardship that goes along with reprogramming and dealing with literal food fallout when you're trying to change the batteries when the device has food in it.

Awesome Automatic Feeder

I’ve been using my AspenPet Auto Feeder for over four years! I love it! It helps make sure my medium dog eats twice a day. Before I wake up and before I get home from work each day. And when I have to go out of town my neighbor can easily let my dog out in the morning and evening without disrupting her routine too much.
Don’t ignore the low battery light! It doesn’t run out as soon as you see it on but you don’t want your pooch to miss a meal.
Would have given it 5 stars but it’s not easy to clean the machine and it’s not adaptable to plug in a wall outlet.
