Only good for looks, not functional

The aluminum feet bend and the rack leans backwards after you drive at highway speed if you keep the rack closer to your cab where the bolts to truck box line up with end of slot in feet. Could probably slide it back towards endgate a few inches and have it just inside truck box instead of lined up over box wall then it could bolt thru the attachment slot inside pillar where you can tighten the bolt thru a little removable plate on side of pillar bottom instead of where the slot is exposed on the part of foot that sticks out. But then you loose a few inches of space in your box and have a big gap between rack and window. If this doesn't make sense from reading it'll probably make sense if you look it over closely in the store. The powder coating scratches off very easily. Couldn't even put MDF baseboards leaned over top of rack without rubbing off paint after very short drive. Paint chips easily from rocks etc that bounce during driving. The webbing is very soft aluminum that if you try hook a ratchet strap into the holes they'd probably bend or tear. Holes too small to wrap a strap around to secure load except thru the center cutout for brake lights. Long story short if you like it's look and don't mind spending 3x or 4x cost of comparable aluminum or steel racks to have an ornament good for city driving then go ahead. If you want an actual practical headache rack that isn't way overpriced then keep shopping. I regret buying it.
